This tour combines sightseeing and trekking in the mountains passing by beautiful valleys, stunning gorges, Kasbahs, oases of the nomads, desert plateau, sand dunes, ancient cities and the epic High Atlas Mountains. The highlight is sleeping in the Desert Camp and watching the stars!

Some trekking activities are scheduled on this trip, so please bring appropriate clothing: comfortable sports shoes, hat, jacket, warm sweater, waterproof jacket, underwear, sunscreen, sunglasses , bottle of water, backpack.

Day 1: Airport-Marrakech Hotel
Transfer from the airport to your accommodation. The first evening you will be able to spend by yourself and explore the vibrant life of Marrakech before enjoying your first dinner in Morocco (included in the tour).
Day 2: Marrakech day visit – Souks - Landmarks
After breakfast at 09:00 our guide will take you to the historical center of Marrakech. Among other places, you will visit the Saadien Tombs, the Bahia Palace located in the Jewish quarter known as the Mellah, the Medrasa, the new Marrakech Museum, Moroccan souk and, of course, the famous Djemaa-el-Fna Square. You can take note of some places during the tour and visit them by yourself in the evening.
Day 3: Marrakech - Ait Ben Haddou - Ourzazate – Rose valley
Your morning will start with a fun trip by 4×4 to the Rose valley. The road will go across the Tizi- N-Tichka pass (2260m high) in the Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy the beautiful landscapes and will be able to see Berber villages on the way. Then you will visit Kasbah Ait benhadou, a heritage site famous for the movies that were shot here, among them are: Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Kingdom of heaven, and some others. After lunch you will go to Ouarzazate, The Gate of Sahara, and then finally you will enter the Rose valley and the city of roses with its fascinating Skoura palm grove. After the trip you will have a delicious dinner and have time to share with your new friends the experience of your first days of the tour in the cosy guest house in Taberkhacht village.
Day 4: Tberkhacht village – Day Trekking to Boutaghrar village
After breakfast at the guest house we will take you hiking to enjoy the impressive landscapes and views of the area. Make sure to bring your camera, you will definitely want a selfie at this place! Then we will stop for lunch in the village of Hadida followed by hiking a bit more to get to the village of Boutaghrar where you will spend the night at a local family’s house. 4 h walk.
Day 5: Boutaghrar village – Gorges Taghiya – Alamdoun village
After visiting the ancient Kasbah granary you will say good-bye to the village of Boutaghrar to start a beautiful adventure through the deep and colourful gorges which will take you to the viewpoint from the village of Alemdoun where you will see the magical M’goun peaks (4067 m ). You will spend the night at a local family’s house. 4 h30 walk.
Day 6: Rose valley – Tinghir – Erfoud - Merzouga dunes
After your now beloved Moroccan breakfast we will take you to Tighir village stopping for a morning walk across Todgha gorges where the cliffs are as high as 600m and only 10m wide. After lunch in Tinjedad you will visit Touroug Palm Plantation and Erfoud town where you will have the opportunity to see the local fossil craft workshop. After the workshop we will take you to the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi and the Dunes of Merzouga. From here your trip will continue on camelback. You will be able to enjoy the sunset from the dunes and stay overnight in the Desert Camp in the middle of the dunes of Merzouga.
Day 7: Merzouga dunes - Ziz valley - Errachidia - Midelt
After enjoying the sunrise in the dunes of Erg chebbi as well as breakfast in the camp we will go back to the car. Then we will take you to the large Ziz valley, the biggest and most well-preserved palm valley of Morocco, famous for its dates, then head to Midelt. You will stay there overnight.
Day 8: Midelt - Ifrane – Meknes – Volubilis - Fes
Today you will go to Fes through the beautiful city of Ifrane. On the way we will have a short stop to visit Bab Mansour gate, the royal stables and the Jewish quarter. You will stay overnight at the Riad in Fez.
Day 9: Day trip to the old Medina of Fes
The whole day will be devoted to exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site. You will see the medieval medina with its Attarine and Bou Anania Medersas, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum, and the Karaouine mosque. In the afternoon, you will visit Fez al Jdid or ‘new Fez’ and stay overnight at the Riad.
Day 10: Transfer Fes - Airport
Transfer to the airport.
