Day 1: Airport-Marrakech Hotel
Transfer from the airport to your accommodation. The first evening you will be able to spend by yourself and explore the vibrant life of Marrakech.
Day 2: Marrakech -Tizi-n-Tichka - Ait Ben Haddou
Transfer via the highest road pass of Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m) to the Berber village of Telouet. We will visit the Kasbah of el Glaoui, former Pasha of Marrakech then drive along the trade route via Tizi-n-Telouet to Ait Benhaddou to visit the World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a fortified village (ksar) that was on the route of the trans-Saharan caravans.
Day 3: Ait Ben Haddou - Rose Valley - Dades Gorges
Transfer to Kelaa Mgouna (Rose Valley) where in spring children sell the garlands of perfumed roses grown for making essential oil. Then we will take the Old Rose Valley Circuit (off-road) via Boutaghrah to finally get to the Dades valley.
Day 4: Dades Gorges - M'smrir - Tamtatouchte
Transfer to Msemir towards the Todra Gorge. We will stop on the way to drink mint tea with a nomadic family in their thick wool tent.
Day 5: Tamtatouchte - Toudgha Gorges - N'Kob
Transfer along the Todra Gorge, the highest gorge in Morocco, to Tinghir and one of the most impressive passes in the Jbel Sarhro, the Tizi-n-Tazazert, with stunning views of the landscape along the way!
Day 6: N'Kob - Draa Valley - Erg Chegaga
Transfer along Draa River Valley through the Berber villages to Mhamid and the wilderness of Erg Chigaga that is home to semi-nomadic Ait Atta Berber nomads. Reaching the desert camp is always a wonderful experience especially when it is followed by watching the sunset from the sand dunes.
Day 7: Erg Chegaga - Camel riding
We will spend the day relaxing and enjoying the pace and silence of the desert life and meet a family of nomads just before jumping on a camel and riding to Erg Chigaga for another spectacular sunset.
Day 8: Erg Chegaga - Foum Zgite - Ouarzazate
Early in the morning we will head to see the sunrise – after that the food tastes even better! After breakfast we will go to the dry lake of Iriki then drive to Ouarzazate.
Day 9: Ouarzazate - Marrakech
Today we will go back to Marrakech and arrive just in time for the guided tour to the Djemaa El Fna and the souks. The contrast between the pace of life in the desert and the city of Marrakech is really amazing!
Day 10: Transfer Marrakech - Airport
Transfer to the airport.
